Since moving back to New Hampshire from Colorado a short while back, Kate Putnam has found her stride in getting involved in the Community.  As a strong member of MANY Concord area community action groups, Kate was recently nominated as the Young Professional of the Week by the Concord Young Professionals Network and the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce.  Kate has been the Community Manager at White Rock Senior Living Community since July 2012 and we are proud to have her on our team. The Valentine’s Day Sweetheart Dance was a great success at Cedars Senior Living Community last week!  Each lady received a carnation and the sweethearts danced the night away to great music.  Thanks to the Community Manager, Ginger LaCross, and the Resident Activity Committee for organizing such a wonderful night of fun!  Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!

Team Summit, AKA, the Summit Flyers had full participation in the 7th Annual Kelly Brush Century Ride on Saturday, September 8th.  The bike ride was held down at the Middlebury College football stadium in Middlebury, VT and Summit contributed both bikers and volunteers.

Summit Flyers, made up of Chris & Nan Boffa, Maria Hallam, John Hunt, and a few others, raised a total of $2,400 for the cause and biked between 50 and 65 miles.  Charlie Brush and his daughter Kelly, the founder of the Kelly Brush Foundation, handcycled the 25 mile loop as part of Team Ride-On and raised over $3,500 together.  Lindsay Brush biked the 50 miles raising nearly $1000, and John Giebink was the only one of the group to finish the 100 miles!  Stacey Morrissey and Catherine Bughman both volunteered the entire day, beginning with the early morning Registration and finishing with the tear down in the rain.
